My personal best recommended solution for printing shipping labels for USPS, FexEx and UPS both efficiently and cost effectively. If you are a high-volume shipper, you probably already have your expensive, high-capacity shipping label print system running. For the rest of us new startups.
Hi Omar, A lot of our customers just use a regular printer, as it's versatile and get's you going without spending a lot of money up front on specialist equipment. You just need to purchase label paper of the correct size/type. If you do want to go with thermal, then Dymo or Zebra is really just a matter of preference as both get the job done, and they both support many file formats these days (before they had their own formats - but this is a thing of the past). If you are based in the US/ and want to print 'paid' shipping labels, then something like ShipStation or OrderCup would be great choices for speeding up your shipping process. If you are not based in the US/Canada and just want simple labels, then check out our OrderlyPrint app, as it let's you print Labels, Invoices, Packing Slips, Fulfillment and more in a single solution:. You can then also use 'Integrated Label' style paper , where the shipping address is a peel off portion of the paper, and the rest is a Packing Slip/Invoice which you can include in your package.
Either way, best of luck with your new store!
